Festa di S.Anna

Every July 26th, the island of Ischia lights up with the Festa a Mare agli Scogli di Sant’Anna, one of the most spectacular events in the Mediterranean. In the enchanting bay of Cartaromana, beneath the Aragonese Castle, a parade of allegorical boats—true floating works of art—glide by with stunning lights and scenery. The highlight is the simulated burning of the Castle, followed by a breathtaking fireworks show over the sea.
