Ischia Port Festival

On September 17, 1854, Ischia inaugurated its port thanks to King Ferdinand II of Bourbon. This key event for the island's development will be celebrated on September 23 with the traditional Festa del Porto. Starting at 6:00 PM, the port will be cleared to simulate the ancient lake, with the arrival of Prince Carlo of Bourbon on a historic vessel and a historical parade at 8:00 PM. At 9:30 PM, the port will host the water show “Il poema del quarto elemento” and a pyromusical fireworks display.
