Ninth Edition of the ScheriaCup

On May 4, 2024, Forio d'Ischia's port will host the ninth ScheriaCup, a regatta organized by the Naval League of the Island of Ischia and sponsored by the Municipality of Forio. This year's race, usually a 24-hour affair, will be reduced to just one lap around Ischia and Procida islands, totaling 27 nautical miles, due to logistical issues. The event is part of the J22 Class circuit and local spring championships. Boats will arrive on May 3rd and the race starts at 11:00 AM on May 4th, with spectators welcomed at the Church of Soccorso square.///n
