THE PROPERTY:
The blue of the sea, the deep green of the island and the ochre hues that echo the volcanic earth and the rays of the sun: these are the colours that define the Hotel Terme Gran Paradiso, more than just a hotel — a little world with the gift of making every holiday truly special.
From gardens brimming with fragrant Mediterranean plants to suspended flower beds bursting with blooms, right through to the elegant wrought-iron lanterns, the entrance avenue is an explosion of colour and scent leading up to the lobby. The enchanting atmosphere, paired with the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, will accompany guests throughout their stay in this impressive property overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
Small pets are welcome free of charge, though they are not permitted in the communal areas.
THE ROOMS:
At the Gran Paradiso, colour takes centre stage indoors too. The Standard rooms, dressed in shades of lilac, cream and turquoise, are designed to encourage relaxation and put guests instantly at ease. They feature a window, a private bathroom with hairdryer, telephone, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, minibar, desk, TV and safe.
The Comfort rooms add a panoramic view of the mountain or the sea. The Superior rooms, larger and more spacious, also boast a balcony with sea views.
RESTAURANT:
The restaurant is set in a spacious indoor dining room, with the option — weather permitting — to enjoy lunch or dinner outdoors as well, on the terrace or in the garden.
The menu stands out for its variety and quality, with a strong focus on local produce and the very best of Made in Italy. The kitchen favours wholesome ingredients and is equipped to cater for any food intolerances.
An in-house pastry chef prepares the desserts served at the table fresh each day, ensuring a refined, artisanal touch.
SERVICES:
The private, unattended car park offers a limited number of spaces and must be booked in advance. The concierge service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. At reception you can arrange transfers to and from airports and stations, book excursions and day trips, and hire bicycles, cars or scooters.
For relaxation, there is a solarium terrace with a snack bar. Laundry and ironing services are also available for an additional charge.
Pet-Friendly: small pets are welcome free of charge (maximum 10 kg, one per room). Pets are not permitted in communal areas such as the restaurant, bar and pools, and are asked not to disturb other guests.
THERMAL SPA & WELLNESS:
The Beauty Farm Alchimie is a true oasis of tranquillity where guests can tailor their beauty treatments to their own needs. Alongside classic massages, manicures and pedicures, specific face and body treatments are also available.
The bond between Ischia and its thermal waters comes fully to life at the Gran Paradiso, which features a modern Spa equipped for a wide range of thermal treatments, mud therapy in particular. The property boasts an indoor pool fed by warm salt-bromine-chromium-iodine water drawn from the island's natural spring, an outdoor pool with solarium and a soothing whirlpool.
